TAN CHUN YEE (A201773)

Hi everyone! My name is Tan Chun Yee, and I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics (2023-2026). First-year student at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) with a Degree in economics (2023-2026). Interested in the field of monetary and fiscal, analysing data and statistics. I'm excited to share a bit about myself and what I bring. 

MY EXPERIENCE

From when I was 7 years old until I was 12 years old, I went to school at SJK (C) Khay Hwa and continued my secondary education at SMK Tat Beng until Form Five. Later, I further my studies in STPM at the SMK Simpang. 

My life's journey in learning is very challenging because everything done must have its ups and downs, including in the learning process. When I sat for the UPSR exam, I obtained excellent results, 6A 1B. However, my academic performance was slightly affected during the PT3 exam because I only got 3A. After that, I subsequently got 9A at the SPM level. Although I got an excellent result in SPM, I still be rejected by the matriculation program and the IPG program; therefore, I chose Form 6 in SMK Simpang for future study to achieve my dream.

The sweetness of success will definitely be obtained with unwavering effort and determination. For the STPM exam, I received a CGPA of 4.00 at the SMK Simpang. This achievement not only makes me proud but has also made my family, teachers, and the school proud because I have succeeded in being the candidate with a CGPA of 4.00 at the SMK Simpang.

It was a good memory~ I enjoyed it so much as I put in a lot of effort to achieve it, as the proverb says, "no pain, no gain".

MY AMBITION

I aim to be a banker at banks like Bank Negara Malaysia, RHB Bank, Maybank, etc.

With a background in economics, I have honed my data analysis, problem-solving, and calculation skills. With a deep understanding of financial principles, I bring a wealth of expertise encompassing banking operations, investment strategies, risk management, and regulatory compliance. 

My commitment to exceptional customer service means I promptly address clients' financial needs and inquiries, ensuring their satisfaction. I excel at cultivating and sustaining strong client relationships, working diligently to help them achieve long-term financial goals. 

Effective collaboration within a banking team is one of my strengths. I actively contribute to a positive team dynamic, fostering cooperation and achieving collective goals.
